5D/4N ESSENTIAL SINGAPORE ITINERARY – For the Independent Traveller
Day 1 Australia/Singapore
Arrival at Changi International Airport. Meet and greet transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 Singapore
Welcome to Singapore, the Malay name for "Lion City"! A dynamic city rich in contrast and colour, a bridge between the East and the West for centuries and continues to embrace tradition and modernity today. On offer are countless unique, memorable experiences waiting to be discovered. Start your exciting experience in Singapore a City Experience Tour. This tour is an orientation of the beautiful and attractive “Garden City” from Orchard Road heading towards the Istana. Drive past Suntec City to see the Fountain of Wealth and continue towards Padang, the venue for many state occasions. The encircling area has buildings such as the Supreme Court and Parliament house. Make a stop at the Merlion Park, the Singapore Icon, and take notice of the Esplanade, one of Singapore’s main attractions and the picturesque Fullerton Hotel. Next, drive through Chinatown before continuing the journey to The Jewel Box, Singapore’s iconic hilltop destination up at Mount Faber. Catch an enthralling and fascinating view of the city skyline and its surrounding islands. Continue the journey with a visit to the Jewellery-Wholesale factory before proceeding to the Botanical Garden. Unwind in the calm and serenity of the 52 hectares of garden. Day 3 Singapore
Free at your own leisure during the day. In the evening take the famous Night Safari Tour, the world's first wildlife park built for visits at night. The Night Safari covers an area of 40 hectares of secondary jungle by travelling through it on an electric tram, with the Seletar Reservoir providing a beautiful backdrop. At the end of the ride you may wish to enjoy dinner (not included in the tour price) in a romantic forest setting. After dinner feel free to stroll and take a closer look at the animals. Through the use of subtle lighting technique, you are able to view over 1,000 nocturnal animals of 100 species in vast naturalistic habitats. The sound of crickets and owls and the chance to see the tigers or hyenas feasting make for a truly memorable experience. (Meals: B/_/_ )
Day 4 Singapore
Free at your own leisure for you to continue to discover Singapore. You may wish to spend some time shopping or take an optional package to the neighbouring countries like Batam Island & Bintan Island in Indonesia during the day and a sunset dinner cruise experience aboard Cheng Ho Imperial Junk Cruise in the evening! Day 5 Singapore/Australia
Free time at your own leisure then transfer to the airport for your flight home.
